Take bookings on your page
Let visitors book a free time on your page, straight into your Google Calendar. They leave their name, phone and email and get an invitation; you see, cancel or add bookings from the chat. Part of Pro, $12 a year.
Open Appointments in the chat
After publishing, choose Appointments. It needs Pro.
Connect Google Calendar
Google asks you to allow calendar access. We use it to see when you’re busy and to add bookings; we never show your other events to anyone.
Turn on booking
Choose Let visitors book on my page, then publish. Your page gets a Book an appointment button.
How visitors book
They pick a day and a free time during your opening hours, never less than an hour away, and give their name, phone and email. We email them a link to confirm, so a made-up address books nothing. Once they tap it, the booking goes into your calendar, Google sends them the invitation, and you get an email.
Manage from the chat
See the next two weeks, tap an appointment to see the phone and email, cancel with a message to the guest, or book someone in yourself. Change the appointment length any time.
Good to know
- Free times follow your opening hours, or booking times of their own: Appointments, then Booking times. Use your own booking times to offer more slots, for online consultations say, than your clinic hours.
- With no opening hours on your page and no booking times, visitors see no free times and are asked to call or message instead.
- Anything already in your Google Calendar blocks that time.
- To protect you from spam, every booking is confirmed from the visitor’s own inbox, each visitor, email and page has a daily limit, and a hidden field catches bots.
